Adel Afzal practices criminal law and family law. He has experience in criminal law and family law cases where issues in one affect the other. He defends clients' criminal charges including assaults, sexual offences, and impaired driving. He represents clients on family law matters that involve matrimonial property, equalization of net family property, and support payments.
Adel Afzal has trial experience in criminal law, child protection law, and family law matters. He believes in resolving matters through negotiation where possible. He has experience keeping difficult situations from turning into contested litigation matters.
Community
Adel maintains memberships in local law associations, is a member-in-good-standing with the Law Society of Ontario, and is an involved member of the community. He studied law at the University of Ottawa and completed his undergraduate studies in public administration at York University. Adel spent his childhood in Beijing and in Toronto.
